VENUE CONSULTANT SERVICES

Peak has a long history within the Sydney Hospitality Industry. Our first booking was on March 15th, 1982 when we organised for John Williamson to perform in the James Ruse Bar at Parramatta's Westower Tavern. Following the success of that and subsequent appearances management asked if we could supply other performers when John wasn't available. A business was born!

The requirement of a business which represented Venue's instead of Acts became obvious. Hotels, Clubs and Tavern's were now multi-million dollar concerns and a new wave of management were looking for consultants to take over the time consuming effort of organising their entertainment requirements. Venue Consultants offered the stability of a quality entertainment programme and the flexibility of not having to put on a dedicated staff member (however, many larger concerns required both).

The development of Peak's business, and other's that followed in our footsteps, was an instrumental part in the repeal of the old Agents Act and the development of the current Entertainment Industry Act in 1989.

Peak represents all types of clients; Hotels (F&B and Functions), Clubs, Restaurants, Cruise Lines, Function Centres, Night Clubs, Councils, etc. Three clients have won AHA Awards for Best Live Entertainment Venue. Many have been utilising Peak for over 10 years.

    Following are the Venue Consultant Services offered by Peak;

  • Booking Performers to meet the Client's brief (and budget);
  • Advise all Performers of Venue access, exit, behaviour, dress and performance standards (worksheet information);
  • Present detailed Entertainment Programmes to the client clearly defining the performers booked on behalf of the venue;
  • Collation of Performer's promotional material (posters, photos, bios etc);
  • Hands on inspection of entertainment at the Venue from time to time;
  • Attend meetings as deemed appropriate by the Venue's management;
  • If required, facilitate the payment of all Performers on the venue's behalf;
  • If required, co-ordinate Advertising or Promotional campaigns;
  • If appropriate, forward entertainment listings to most recognised Gig guides;
  • 7 days/24 hour pager service.
